We’re looking for a skilled Sr Structure Engineer to design and analyze structural systems for various building types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to design structural systems.
- Provide complete design solutions from concept to construction.
- Lead and mentor other structural engineers.
- Design and analyze structures using finite element analysis and hand calculations.
- Develop design documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Perform construction administration tasks (review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, etc.).
- Coordinate and communicate design solutions with clients and other engineering disciplines.
- Assist with project planning, cost estimating, proposals, and management.
Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive structural engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software (ETABS, RISA, RAM).
- Thorough knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE).
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- United States citizenship.
