We are currently seeking a certified construction QCM to hire in Washington DC area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction quality control management and project management. This role is critical in ensuring Quality Control tasks in construction services for our clients and ultimate customers the DOD Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Army meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with federal regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality control inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Analyze data collected during inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure quality assurance.
- Collaborate with construction management to implement corrective actions and maintain quality control processes.
- Monitor construction activities to prevent defects and ensure project success.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to assess quality control procedures and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Must have the USACE Quality Control Certification.
- A Construction Management or Engineering degree is a plus
- 5 years of experience as a Construction Quality Control Manager.
- Experience on DoD/NAVFAC/USACE projects.
- Must have experience in vertical and horizontal construction.
- Must understand 3 phases of quality control.
- Familiarity with RMS is desired.
- ·Must be able to read and understand plans and specifications thoroughly.
- Must be able to keep good relationships with ETs, CMEs, and ACOs
