We’re looking for a skilled Civil Design Engineer to provide technical support, design and analyze various civil engineering products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis.
- Develop horizontal and vertical geometric layouts.
- Create design plans and shop drawings.
- Provide quality control for design and drafting work.
- Input wall draw program and draft wall elevation views and details.
- Prepare and review material takeoffs.
- Participate in administrative, training, and technical development activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical, structural, or transportation coursework.
- Understanding of civil engineering design principles as applied by The Reinforced Earth Company.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of draftsman and designer responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Comprehension and application of civil engineering principles to The Reinforced Earth Company’s products.
