We’re looking for a skilled Field Engineer to Lead and manage the structural engineering team, overseeing the design, analysis, and implementation of structural engineering projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the structural engineering team.
- Oversee structural design and analysis of projects.
- Review and approve structural calculations, models, and drawings.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Assess existing structures and provide recommendations.
- Conduct field inspections to monitor construction progress.
- Identify structural risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering.
- Manage client relationships and provide expert consultation.
- Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 8-10 years of experience in structural engineering, including leadership roles.
- Expertise in structural analysis and design of various structures.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in structural design software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.
- Experience with construction oversight and field inspections.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
